Host a Fundraiser

  • Contribute more than you might be able to by making a donation
  • Engage others in supporting a great cause

Fundraising can be one of the best ways to support local healthcare. It helps raise awarenss and engages new donors. It can be a way to contribute more than you could with a donation.

If you’ve got special skills, a good network, a great idea or just the desire to do something fun! hosting a fundraiser could be the right fit for you.

Big or small every fundraiser helps support healthcare in our community.

A Couple of Recent Examples

12 Days of Christmas - Brightshores Oncology Raffle

Lisa came up with a great idea for a holiday raffle. We helped with liscensing and promoting while she got all the prizes and sold most of the tickets! She ended up raising nearly $13,000 for cancer care at Brightshores.

Owen Sound Skin and Laser Co.

The team at Owen Sound Skin and Laser Co. have selected Brightshores Cancer Centre as the receipient of their 2025 Holiday Giveback event where they hosted customers and held an auction. They raised $2,477 towards their pedge of $15,000

Alpine Ski Club

The Alpine Ski club invited us to join them for the annual men’s day. Through ticket sales, a 50/50 and a Bruce Power match they raised $11,650 for the hospital’s second MRI!

Pink Challenge

BUILT Strength and Conditioning hosted a full day of workouts to support the new mammography suite at Brightshores Owen Sound Hospital. They raised money with entry fees, sponsors, merch, and fundraising all together totaling more than $15,000!
