Gifts in Memory Honour a Loved One

Memorial gifts honour a departed loved one or friend while also supporting the work of the hospital. Memorial gifts are accepted at funeral homes throughout Grey Bruce, online, or at the Foundation office.

At your request, a card is sent to the family of the deceased to inform them of your kindness. The amount of your gift is not mentioned.

Wall of Remembrance

When donations total more than $1,000 a marker is placed on the Wall of Remembrance in the Hospital Lobby. When more than $5,000 is received, the loved one is memorialized with a large marker. Sometimes this happens at the time of death other times it happens years later. Monthly gifts given in memory are a popular way to work towards this recognition.

Gifts in memory can be given at any time for any campaign.

Each year new names are recognized during the annual In Memory Night ceremony which celebrates and remembers those we have lost.
