Equipment plays a critical role at the Owen Sound Hospital. From large million dollar imaging devices to smaller surgical tools. Without the right equipment staff can’t do what they need to do.
A well-equipped Hospital also saves patients from having to travel to larger centers for medical care, and it helps the hospital to recruit and keep doctors and other medical professionals.
Brightshores is able to leverage its size (six hospital plus the Wellness and Recovery Centre) to purchase items in bulk and reduce costs. Having the same equipment across each of the sites also helps staff move between locations easily.
Beyond the tools there’s the systems and the spaces that make it all possible. Without good internet or HVAC the whole system would fall apart. Thank you for being a huge part of that system – thank you for supporting local healthcare!
